HiG Centrifuges

The HiG3 and HiG4 (Bionex Solutions) are plate centrifuges built for automation. Speeds up to ~3000g, rotor configurations for 96 and 384-well plates, automated lid for robotic plate loading.
Supported methods
Section titled “Supported methods”- Spin — run with configured speed, duration, and acceleration / deceleration ramp
- Open / close lid — explicit lid control for handoff
- Balance check — verify the rotor is balanced before spinning
- Status query — current speed, temperature, lid state
Integration
Section titled “Integration”Revolution drives the HiG centrifuges through their TCP / serial automation interface. Spin profiles are stored in the device record and referenced by name from schedule methods; safety interlocks (lid open during spin) are surfaced as events on the run timeline.
